NO HEAT PROBLEMS!

St. Vincent DePaul Mission of Bristol, Inc.
is looking for volunteers to help our Bristol neighbors that are forced out of their homes/apartments because of lack of heat this winter.

This project cannot get underway until volunteers have been recruited.  Can you spare to make a commitment of time to assist staff in monitoring the building and No Heat Guests?

Please! We need your help~ we cannot run this project without volunteers.

Call: Wayne at 589-1141 or Linda at 589-9098.

All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and pass a screening process.  This will include reference checks, employment check and police check.  This project has been inspired by Mayor Art Ward’s Winter 09 Task Force on Prevention and Remediation of Winter 2008-2009 No Heat Problems.

This is a very real opportunity to help those in need during the upcoming winter months.  Please prayerfully consider your gift of time to this newest Community effort.

St. Joseph Parish mission encourages us by:

“Creating a community of charity based on the gospel imperative to love and care for one another” and by “seeking to promote justice and peace in all areas of life”.
